Dentist jobs · Brisbane & South East Queensland
Want to be part of Our Dental Group?
Six busy, modern practices. Thirty-two dentists who back each other. Full books, proper mentoring and a trained team around you, so you can do dentistry the way it should be done.
Who we are
Six practices, one team
Our Dental Group is a network of well-established practices across South East Queensland: Plainland Dental, Fernvale Dental, Walloon Dental Surgery, Lowood Dental, Dental on Beams and The Dental Standard Taringa. The furthest is a pleasant 45-minute drive from Brisbane's western suburbs.
Every clinic is equipped to do comprehensive dentistry well: CEREC Primescan and Omnicam, Medit scanners, in-house CBCT and OPG, intraoral cameras and DSLRs, nitrous oxide, rotary endo, and our own fully equipped lab. Between us we cover the full scope, from crown and bridge, endo and surgical extractions through to implants, All-on-X, full-mouth rehab, aesthetics and both aligner and traditional orthodontics.
Why you'll love working here
Big-practice perks. Small-practice culture.
Good dentistry doesn't happen in isolation. We've built the team around our clinicians so you can focus on the patient in the chair.
Your dental assistants
Four weeks of structured training with our dedicated training manager and our best support staff before they join you. A consistent roster, so you work with one or two DAs who learn exactly how you like things, with six-monthly reviews and annual infection-control assessments.
Your front office
Friendly, efficient and trained in patient satisfaction, retention and reactivation. They fill last-minute cancellations and follow up on anything you or your patient needs.
Your treatment coordinators
They remove confusion, build confidence around complex treatment and run a tight ship, so you only need to think about the dentistry.
Your fellow dentists
Collaborative, down-to-earth clinicians who came through the same mentoring program. Extra skills across ortho, implants, wisdom teeth, aesthetics, RA sedation and occlusion, and happy to hold your hand through your first daunting cases.
Your management team
Fifteen years working together, with a dedicated HR coordinator, mental-health first aiders and an EAP for staff and their immediate family. Things get done without being asked twice.
Your owners
Clinically active dentists who love teaching. We pass on negotiated discounts on lab, implant components and CPD, publish transparent SFA criteria so the goalposts don't move, and use KPIs for insight rather than pressure.
Our practices are built by dentists and backed by good systems: quality TGA-approved equipment and materials, a maintenance schedule that means you won't reschedule because something is broken, and full books that stay full. Clinician turnover is minimal, which we think says more than we can.

Our in-house dental lab
Your technician is part of the team, not a courier address
Our own digital lab, based at our largest clinic, serves all six practices. Whichever clinic you're in, you work directly with your technician: plan the bigger cases together, pick up the phone and talk through a design, and deal with the same person every time, someone who remembers you and how you like things done.
- Digital first. 3D printers and our own five-axis zirconia mill.
- What we make. Zirconia and implant crowns, surgical guides, mock-ups and temporaries, splints and appliances, and both 3D-printed and traditional acrylic dentures.
- Shared savings. Lab fees are a direct cost, so we keep ours very low for our clinicians and pass the saving on to you.
What we stand for
Ethical, comprehensive dentistry. No corporate catch.

For graduate dentists
Your first years, done properly
Those first couple of years are the ones that shape a career. We've run a graduate program for over a decade, and most of our dentists came through it. You'll work alongside clinicians who remember what it felt like, with a senior dentist you can grab between patients.
- Hourly rate in your first year. Predictable income while you build speed and confidence, with a clear path to a percentage once you're established.
- Structured mentoring. Case discussion, treatment planning reviews and hands-on supervision for your first surgical, endo and prosthodontic cases.
- A full book. You will be busy. Our front office and treatment coordinators keep it that way.
- Private practice with support. The variety and earning potential of private practice, with the backing you'd expect from a public rotation.
In-house CPD program
Hands-on and lecture-based sessions run by our own clinicians and invited specialists.
- Patient communication and treatment planning
- General restorative principles
- CEREC fundamentals and preparation design
- Rubber dam and isolation
- Clinical photography
- Endodontics under the microscope
- Simple and surgical extractions, flap design, sectioning
- Wisdom teeth: OPG and CBCT planning
- Local anaesthetic techniques and troubleshooting
- Implant impressions and restoration
- Orthodontics: when to refer and what to record
- Paediatric dentistry
- Occlusion and rehab principles
- TMD basics
For experienced dentists
Grow your scope. Keep your autonomy.
You already know how to do dentistry. What you may not have had is a group that invests in the next step: implants, All-on-X, surgical extractions, sedation, aligners, full-mouth rehab. Our senior clinicians and visiting specialists mentor on live cases, and we negotiate group rates on external courses.
- Remuneration that reflects a full book. We're transparent about the numbers and happy to talk them through. We'll also work with you to ethically lift your rebooking and treatment conversion rates, which benefits you and your patients alike.
- Clinical autonomy. Treat the way you believe is right for the patient. We value it as long as it leads to good outcomes.
- Lower direct costs. In-house lab, negotiated implant component pricing and payment-plan rates passed straight on.
- Transparent SFA criteria. You'll know exactly how it works before you start.
- A management team that moves. Materials ordered, equipment serviced, rosters sorted, without you chasing.
For international dentists
Visa restrictions? We may be able to help.
Several of our Western practices sit in locations that may satisfy regional or distribution-of-workforce requirements, while still being within commuting distance of Brisbane. You can live in Brisbane and work with us.
- Tell us your situation. Visa type, any location conditions and your registration status. We'll let you know which clinics could work for you.
- Same support as everyone else. The mentoring, the trained team and the in-house CPD program apply regardless of where you trained.
- Experience with the process. We've supported overseas-trained dentists through the move before and know what the paperwork looks like.
For support staff
Dental assistants, front office and coordinators
Our clinicians are only as good as the team around them, so we invest in that team: structured onboarding, Certificate III support, six-monthly reviews, an EAP and a workplace that celebrates birthdays, scrub days and the end of a big year.
New to dental
Four weeks of structured training with our best support staff, then a consistent roster with one or two dentists. We support you through your Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Experienced
Ready for a new challenge? Our treatment coordinator, practice coordinator and area roles are filled from within first. Tell us where you want to go.
Front office
You'll be trained in scheduling, retention and patient satisfaction, and backed by a management team that answers the phone when you call.

Tell us a bit about you
Fill this in and one of us will be in touch. We read every introduction properly, so tell us a bit about who you are and what you're looking for, not just what's on your CV.
